Meet Cicely

Her Story
Cicely Thomas, DCN., M.Ed., RDN., LD is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience. She completed her terminal degree as a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition (DCN) from the University of North Florida. With her background being predominantly in community nutrition and public health, she exemplifies her deep compassion for promoting health equity and reducing the gap of assistance to underrepresented populations by volunteering in multiple organizations and dietetic
practice groups as the liaison for Inclusion, Diversity Equity and Access with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Coming from an underrepresented population herself, she fully understands the importance of effective
communication and representation.
Dr. Thomas is not only an advocate for nutrition related policies but also civil rights and equitable
